Thomas Hooker


Thomas Hooker built the mansion by the side of Tonbridge castle he was the son of John Hooker the old owner of the castle. Thomas inherted the castle from his father. The mansion was built on the east side of  the Castle by the brick s which would have been sold .

Thomas Hooker didn't complete the mansion so it was finished by William Woodgate of  Somerhill, who gave it to his son as a wedding present.
